I am a human bioarchaeologist who studies both mummified and skeletal human remains to better understand how people lived and died in the past with a particular focus on the relationship among diet, disease, ecology and culture.

I teach in both the graduate and undergraduate programs

I am the current Vice President of the Canadian Association for Biological Anthropology

The Trent Human Bioarchaeology Research lab studies human remains from archaeological contexts with the goal of reconstructing diet, cultural behaviours, health and mobility in individuals and populations across space and time.
